Day 1: Arrival – Arusha – Lake Manyara
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Tanzania – Kenya Border, you will warmly be met by our representative and transfer you to for lunch. In the afternoon drive to Lake Manyara for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Lake Manyara – Serengeti
Morning game drives in Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara NP is a lovely scenic park that offers another unique experience of a Tanzania Safari! The park is also famous for its elephants; a huge number of baboons and due to its varied landscape, the park has an impressive range of other game including Wildebeest, Buffalo, Hippo, Flamingo, Zebra, Warthog, Waterbuck, Dik-dik and Impala. Bird – Watching here is very good, especially raptors, a paradise of its own! Later lunch at the lodge and afterward proceeds to Serengeti National Park for dinner and overnight stay
Day 3: Game viewing in the Serengeti National Park
The following day you will have game drives at your leisure and track wildlife in the Mighty Serengeti. Serengeti is Tanzania’s most renowned national park and home to the greatest concentrations of large mammals on the planet. The name Serengeti is derived from a Maasai word ‘Siringet’ to mean ‘endless plains’, and these rolling distances of short grass plains provide an exceptional landscape for wildlife viewing; your ultimate safari country– this is the highlight of your safari, you are in the total wilderness of Africa with game viewing around you to give you, your very own ‘Out of Africa’ experience! Dinner and overnight stay in Serengeti National Park
Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro
With picnic lunch, en route game drives to Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA). Ngorongoro is the only conservation area in the world where visitors are likely to see the “BIG FIVE” (Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo, Lion and Leopard), in their natural environment. Ngorongoro also contains the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. Arrive at your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay
Day 5: Game viewing in the famous Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro for lunch and an afternoon game viewing in the famous Crater of Ngorongoro. Ngorongoro Crater is such a unique safari destination, a veritable “Garden of Eden”. With a large concentration of animals and short grasslands, game viewing in the crater or more appropriately a caldera is excellent as animals are everywhere! The caldera is reputed to contain the highest density of carnivores in the world. Dinner and overnight stay in Ngorongoro.
Day 6: Ngorongoro – Arusha – Zanzibar
After a leisurely breakfast, drive back to Arusha and connect your flight to Zanzibar. The Island of Zanzibar is the perfect break for those looking for a change of scenery and it boasts an attractive expanse of white sand beaches and luscious tropical forests. On your arrival, you will have two hours of City Tour to explore the footmark of settlers and rulers of Zanzibar. Later during the day, you will be taken to your place of stay in Stone Town, the heart of Zanzibar
Day 7: Jozani Forest
After breakfast, drive to Jozani for half day touring the only natural forest found in Zanzibar in which you will find Red Colobus monkey an endemic species and other fauna and flora around there. Later, drive to the North Coast of Ras Nungwi for lunch, followed by a relaxation on the beach for the rest of the day
Day 8: Relax on the Beach
After breakfast relax on the beach or embark on optional excursions and tours. (Your stay on breakfast and dinner basis)
Day 9: Relax on the beach
After breakfast, enjoy hotel amenities at the hotel and white sand beach. (Your stay on breakfast and dinner basis)
Day 10: Zanzibar – Dar Es Salaam
After breakfast, relax on the beach. After lunch, drive to Stone Town for shopping, and then later, transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your domestic flight to Dar Es Salaam Airport. After check-in at Julius Nyerere International Airport, you will connect with your International flight to Amsterdam.
